What do I do after delivering a translation?
I relax.
Translating a text, however big or small, is mentally and physically demanding. Before moving on to a new translation project, I take some time to clear my head and relax my body. Going for a walk or a swim, reading or listening to music, or even doing nothing in particular, all help me to relax.
I reorganise.
Reorganising files and folders or my workspace helps me to clear my head. While I sort things, I am able to focus my mind. Once everything is organised, I also have more mental space ready to tackle new projects.
I celebrate.
I’m happy and satisfied. With my translation I have helped my client to communicate, to stand out from the crowd, to get noticed and really engage with Italian-speaking customers. So, I celebrate.
